Procedure Text adalah teks yang menguraikan secara rinci prosedur dalam membuat ataupun melakukan sesuatu.

Generic structure
1. Goal/Aim (Tujuan pembuatan teks prosedure)
2. Materials/Equiptments ( Alat atau bahan yang dibutuhkan)
3. Steps/Methods (Langkah-langkah yang ditempuh untuk mencapai tujuan dari teks)

Characteristics of Procedure Text

• Menggnakan Simple Present Tense
• Menggunakan kalimat perintah atau Imperative sentence
• Menggunakan technical term, dan
• Menggunakan adverb

Steps to Reduce Global Warming

If you feel that every day goes hotter and hotter, it is possibly the effect of global warming. Global warming is the raising of Earth temperature temporary because of some factors. Here are some steps you can do to reduce global warming.

1.    Plant tree. Trees suck up CO₂ and make clean air. The roots prevent the landslide, so let’s plant the tree.

2.   Save electricity. Turn off the electricity and other devices when you are not using them. Electric comes from the fossil which produces CO₂ emission.

3.   Use paper efficiently. Paper comes from trees, so much paper you use so many trees are cut.

4.   Bike to school. Bike is green transportation which does not result gas emission better than motorcycles and cars.

5.   Throw rubbish in to bin. Stay green by keeping the environment clean. It is better to sort the rubbish in to organic and inorganic bin.

6.   Bring your own mineral bottle. It helps to reduce the plastic garbage. It takes 10-20years to decompose plastic.

7.   Bring your own bag. Go shopping with your cloth tote bag is better to reduce plastics bag.

§       A pouch of tea

§       Three tea spoons of sugar

Steps:              

• Put a pouch of tea into teapot
• Add boiling water
• Leave it for three minutes
• Pour it into a cup
• Add sugar
• Stir it well

Definition
Report is a text that gives the information about something precisely based on facts as a result of systematic observation, usually explains about the natural phenomenon.

Generic Structure
1. General classification: Contains classification of general aspect of thing, such as animal, place, plant, etc. It will be discussed in general.
2. Description: Describing the thing that is discussed in detail part per part , customs or deed for living creature and usage for materials.

Language Feature or Characteristics
• Using Simple Present Tense

• Using descriptive language 

• Using action verbs and more adjectives 
• Using conditional logical connection

Kinds of Earthquake

Earthquakes often happens around us. It brings great damages. Earthquake is hard to be predicted and that makes lot victims. (Definition)
            Actually there are three kinds of earthquake. These kinds of earthquake are commonly based on the factor and geological area where the earthquakes happen. These three kinds of earthquake are tectonic, volcanic and explosion. (Classification)
            Tectonic earthquakes are most common one. This kind of earthquake happens while earth's crust rocks break because of the geological strength created by moving of the earth's plates. (Description of classification)
            Volcanic earthquakes happen exactly with volcanic activity. Volcanic earthquakes are when the volcano produces acidic lava, which drys quickly, when it dries quickly it blocks the top of the volcano. This make no more magma can escape. Pressure starts to build up and eventually the acidic lava can no longer stand the pressure. So the volcano is free to explode, the pressure is released so fast that an earthquake is caused. A volcanic earthquake is usually kept within 10-20 miles of the volcano. (Description of classification)
